Material Wiz app for iPhone and iPad

You want to know how many bars are required for a machining job. Material Wiz is the tool for that.

Just fill in the prompts and get an instant answer how much bar stock is needed to run a job. Great for quoting and for ordering. Even a layman can use this program and is also reduces risk of mistakes.

In addition to entering the part length and quantity of parts, you can select amount of face off, cutoff width and bar length. (All bars are figured 4" shorter to allow for first remnant piece and bar end). And, you can trigger a button to allow for an extra 10% parts for setup and overage.

You can change the data around for different outcomes. Just make sure you push the calculate button each time for new data results.

This tool has been written and use by a person that had a screw machine shop for many years. And is now available on the Apple store. Enjoy!
